High Speed Slitting Line Trialing at KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER Factory

2026-03-18 - Leave me a message

This year, KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER successfully manufactured and commissioned three high speed slitting lines for clients in Canada, Turkmenistan, and India. Since these three clients were unable to travel to the KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER factory in person, the KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER team conducted the commissioning on their behalf, providing real-time updates and data to their overseas clients.

Before officially commencing commissioning, KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER staff conducted an external inspection of each high speed slitting machine's components. This process was crucial, ensuring the high speed slitting line's dimensions and the integrity of all parts met standards to rule out potential damage during transport. Simultaneously, KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER staff checked the high speed slitting machine's electrical connections to ensure all connections were secure and to prevent unexpected problems during commissioning. After confirming that all high speed slitting line specifications met production requirements, the KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER team conducted a no-load test to ensure the high speed slitting machine was operating optimally. The success of the no-load test laid the foundation for subsequent material testing.

Canada Project: Commissioning Process of High Speed Slitting Line

The high speed slitting machine designed for the Canadian client is renowned for its extremely high production efficiency. This high speed slitting line is equipped with several upgrades and additional components, including three storage platforms, a dual slitter head, a piano-style trolley, and a cross-type turnstile coil-storage arm. The KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER team paid special attention to these features during the trial run. During material testing, the design of the three storage platforms demonstrated their unique advantages. After one roll of material was processed, the next roll could be quickly fed onto the trolley, effectively reducing production intervals. Simultaneously, the dual slitter head design allows for simultaneous blade changing offline while one slitter head is operating, significantly improving efficiency. The coordinated operation of the piano-style trolley and cross-type turnstile coil-storage arm makes the material packaging process smoother. After slitting, the piano-style trolley delivers the material to the cross-type turnstile coil-storage arm for offline packaging, and then returns to the high speed slitting machine for the next round of production. This series of designs will save the Canadian customer significant time in loading, blade changing, and packaging. After the trial run, KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER promptly sent relevant data and results to the Canadian customer to ensure mutual acceptance of the high speed slitting line's performance.

Turkmenistan Project: Testing of Simple Coil Slitting Machine

The simple coil slitting machine designed for the Turkmenistan customer is characterized by its small footprint, allowing it to operate smoothly in space-constrained factories. To ensure the simple coil slitting machine's proper functioning in the Turkmenistan customer's factory, the KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER team carefully measured all machine dimensions and the length of the entire production line after wiring to ensure it met the customer's needs. During testing, KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER staff continuously adjusted production parameters to ensure stable operation under various production conditions. Simultaneously, KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER staff tested the simple coil slitting machine with materials of different specifications. The tests showed that the simple coil slitting machine could effectively handle materials with a maximum width of 1300mm, fully consistent with the commitments made by the KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER team and the Turkmenistan customer, who expressed satisfaction.

India Project: On-site Testing of Metal Slitting Machine

Due to geographical distance, the entire trial run was conducted via video conference. KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER staff demonstrated the various components of the metal slitting machine to the Indian customer via video and provided a detailed explanation of the metal slitting machine's functions and performance. During the trial run, the Indian customer was able to ask questions in real time, and KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER staff answered them promptly. During the trial run, KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER staff conducted a no-load test, thoroughly checking the start-up of each component. Furthermore, both parties verified specific production parameters, including a maximum production capacity of 32 narrow strips, a maximum operating speed of 120m/min, a minimum strip width of 12mm, and the ability to handle materials with a thickness between 0.5-1.0mm. The Indian customer expressed great satisfaction after viewing the test results, and the entire process was completed smoothly.

After a series of rigorous tests, all three high speed slitting lines passed the trial run and were deemed qualified products. Currently, the simple coil slitting machine has been successfully shipped to the customer's factory in Turkmenistan, and the remaining two high speed slitting machines are in the process of being prepared for shipment. The professionalism and efficiency of the KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER team during the trial run demonstrated KINGREAL STEEL SLITTER technical strength and service capabilities in the high speed slitting line field, delivering high-quality metal slitting machine to the customer.
